How Maui Fished up the North Islands.

Maui had four brothers 

and his brothers were going fishing. That night Maui sneaked into his brother’s fishing canoe. Out at sea Maui  popped up. His brothers couldn’t take him back because of the currents. So they continued fishing. Using his grandmother’s jaw bone Maui fished up the North Islands Te waka-a-maui . So Maui, the smallest brother (mocked by his older brothers) was the one who caught the biggest fish ever.
